Annabel took a leap of faith in May 2011! She set up Resourcing4HR having worked in the HR recruitment arena for ten years, following an eight year career in financial recruitment, both in a FTSE, corporate, blue chip recruitment agency. Keen to build a brand that was candidate centric with strong values around relationships and long term partnerships with her clients, she focused her knowledge and expertise on delivery, always putting the customer, whether that be candidate or client, first. Now she doesn’t look back! The boutique, niche service that she and her colleagues offer has made Resourcing4HR what it is today. A tried and tested model in the industry and one that has built up a strong reputation through our networking relationships in the HR community.
When taking time out (do recruiters ever do that??) from running the business and partnering our clients, she spends time driving three very active, sporty children around to many an activity. Passionate about holidays (loves skiing trips!) and her dog Bentley, she doesn’t have much time left in the week other than eating out and socialising regularly with hubby Andy and friends.
After an initial career in the retail travel industry, Karen moved into financial services in the mid 90’s and worked through various management roles closely aligned with HR over 17 years. With 8 years’ experience of managing an In-house Recruitment and Resourcing team, Karen worked hard to manage and drive forward the resourcing process for a fast paced business area ensuring that candidate values were aligned with customer brand and organisational culture.
Breaking the tradition of moving from agency to in-house, Karen did the opposite in 2013 and joined Resourcing4HR! A keen relationship builder and networker; Karen will never lose her grass roots and has strong values around the partnerships’ she builds with her clients and candidates.
Living on the edge of the beautiful Ashridge estate, Karen loves rural living and supports her husband whilst he spends many hours renovating their old cottage. Weekends are all about family time with her two daughters and step children. Life’s obsessions are definitely a holiday in the sun (anywhere!) which is a must; and the excitement of seeing her favourite bands playing live in concert.
Sapna began her career in recruitment in 2000. Genuine and approachable she has gained a unique insight and deep understanding of the HR market. Attention to detail and the ability to build long term relationships with clients and candidates, she has a real passion for business. A natural networker who believes in traditional business values of professionalism, courtesy and exceeding expectation.
Sapna’s hobbies include travel, especially to Italy. This has resulted in a love affair with the Country, in particular it’s food, wine and fashion. Thinks she is a great dancer, but really needs to update her moves. Her music style is eclectic from classical to R&B and Hip Hop. Loves to laugh, in particular at her own bad jokes.
Rachel is our Operations Manager and joined the team in 2016. She has over 15 years of experience in operations and office management and has previously worked in the Finance, IT and Engineering sectors. Prior to joining us she worked for an IT consultancy managing their Operations and HR functions where she gained considerable experience in recruiting from the client side. Rachel’s focus is on the day to day running of the business and she thrives on problem solving and helping drive the business forward.
Outside the office Rachel tries hard to stay in shape but is hampered in her efforts by her love of cooking and rioja. She is a huge music fan and is never happier than when dancing to one of her favourite tunes. Rachel is married with two daughters and also has a beloved border terrier called Monty. She spends much of her spare time exploring the beautiful Chiltern countryside with them.
